All LeicestershireLive and Leicester Mercury readers are being offered a 20 per cent discount when they book their summer holiday travel Covid tests at a new clinic in Leicester's Highcross shopping centre. It means readers heading to Highcross ahead of their holiday will be able to secure their Next Day Result PCR test and "fit to fly" certificate for GBP104 instead of the regular price of GBP130. The Regenerative Clinic's Leicester manager Debbie Hales said: "Leicester is getting back on its feet and we are really looking forward to welcoming visitors to Highcross and assisting them with their travel Covid tests as overseas holidays become a reality once more.

"We also hope that our test discount offer for all readers of the Mercury, which is doing so much to encourage and support the city as it recovers from the pandemic, will help make those much needed holidays and travel plans that bit more affordable." The clinic at Highcross can only be visited by customers who do not exhibit any symptoms of Covid and who pre-book an appointment by telephone or online. It offers Next Day Result PCR tests, Same Day Result PCR tests for appointments before 12 noon, International Arrivals Day 2 and Day 8 PCR tests, and Test to Release Day 5 PCR tests.
