What makes the best holiday accommodation? Is it somewhere you don't want to leave? Somewhere that makes you feel at home?
Or somewhere that is a special treat? Or is it a microcosm of its location, eager to show off the best of what's on the doorstep? The itravel Staycation Awards 2020/21 include five accommodation categories, and we'd like you to tell us about those special places to stay around the UK.
These include the best Hotel, B&B and Pub with rooms (all sponsored by Sawday's - places where you can expect great food, a warm welcome and superlative service throughout your stay. We'd also like you to nominate your favourite holiday homes in the Self-catering accommodation category, sponsored by holidaycottages.co.uk. These might be rentals that show off their location and make sure that nothing is forgotten, ensuring you have a relaxing stay.
The i newsletter latest news and analysisAnd for those for whom a holiday is not complete without a four-legged friend, Dog-friendly accommodation, sponsored by Canine Cottages, champions the best holiday accommodation, where dogs are made to feel as welcome as their owners.
How to nominate
The Awards are free to enter here and nominations are open until 5 April. All you need to do is tell us who or where deserves to win in no more than 200 words.
Readers who take the time to nominate will also be entered into a prize draw for a GBP1,000 voucher towards a stay in a self-catering property offered by our Awards partner, holidaycottages.co.uk. A panel of judges will decide the finalists and, ultimately, the winners. These will be revealed on 10 June 2021 at inews.co.uk/staycationawards.
